Seeing is believing - Dot to Dot with Seurat

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
Today we learned about Seurat and pointillism.   Basically, Seurat liked one to look at his painting from a distance and  he would put primary colors close together and then your eye would combine them to see the mixture of colors. This day, DJ made a neat pointilism picture to show us. We didn't guess what she wanted it to be, but nonetheless it was very pretty. The kids then started dipping pencil erasers into the paint and putting dots on their paper to form their own pointillism picture of their own. They came out really neat.
