Megan had to answer a bunch of related adding and subtraction questions, where the same number had one added to it and one taken away, as well as some doubles and some where the same number was subtracted, such as 4-4. I think this helps her see relationships, especially 4+1, 4-1, 3+1, 3-1, etc.
