Life of Fred chapter 14 dogs

This chapter talks about Fred going to the pet shelter and trying to save the dogs. He finds he does not have enough money, that is $10 for each of 30 dogs .
So he  does a bit of introducing multiplication.  He shows that 30 tens is the same as ten 30s.  He does this by showing 10 rows of thirty dots.  Then he discusses how you will later write thirty tens as 30 times 10.and that 30 times 10 = 10 times 30.then he says fill in the blank 5+7 = 7+5 is an example of the ___________ law of addition.  


2.) is subtraction commutative ?i showed Megan this with a subtraction problem show as 5-3= 3-5. No

3.) is putting on your shoes and socks commutative.  No
