Life of Fred chapter 12 dogs

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
In this chapter, Fred discusses how many addition problems there are per answer, like for 11, you only had to learn four facts.  Nobody has to learn 10+ 1= 11.  He did this for a few numbers until he got to seventeen. Seventeen only has one , 8+9 = 17.   He discussed that he picked books out by opening a dictionary and picking a topic at random .

We had to find what is wrong with the picture shown.  Megan did it mostly.   Then Megan had to guess what number doubled gives 14 and next 16. Then she had to solve 17-8.  Then she had to guess the rule for the function , January to March, 13-15, Thursday- Saturday, etc.
