Farm Fresh Addition

In my pre-laminated Kindergarten games there is an addition game in which you turn over the cards and you take turns to answer the addition problems. On the board, each space has two answers, like 5 and 10, and 6 and 8. You move your counter to the next spot that has your sum. The first person to the finish line wins. But, there is no way to get to the finish line. So, Megan and I are going to add a pumpkin card that if you get it, you go automatically to finish. We also are going to add carrots and if you get one of them, then you go back to start.  Secondly, we make bar graphs while we play and see who gets the most/least of the farm foods.  Then, we put them all together at the end, and observed that there are the same amount of cards for each of the vegetables and eggs.  Also, when we added up the total individual items, they all added up to 45 items, like 45 broccoli, 45 corn, 45 eggs, 45 tomatoes.  This was interesting to us. We played this game several times.
