Photos From Julie and Winston's Trip To Christensburg VA.

For Julie's Birthday present this year, I drove her down to see her old college roommate from undergraduate. It's about a 400 mile drive to Christensburg VA from Cleveland OH. And they haven't seen each other in 3 years. Below are some of the photos we took during the trip. Clicking on the thumbnails will load the larger version. Special thanks to Fred and Mary Ann for use of the Digital Camera.

The Brubakers, our gracious hosts College roommates reunited Kala with guests (Winston and Julie)

The Brubakers (Nancy, Charles (Bru for short, and Kala)) took Julie and I to the Valley View Mall. We took some pictures in front of the fountain in the middle of the mall. After shopping in the mall, the Brubakers treated Julie and I to a delicious Valentine's Supper at Texas Saloon and Steakhouse. Complete with a Texas holler in honor of Julie's Birthday. (Pictures not available)

On our way to see Ferrum College where Julie, Nancy and Bru all went to undergraduate college and where Julie and Nancy were roommates, we stopped at Bru's parents' farm, where I got to ride Ben. This was the first time that I've ever riden a horse. Not counting pony rides at fairs of course. It was a lot of fun and not quite what I expected. I didn't fall off and my legs are only a little sore. (Took the 7 hour drive back to Cleveland for that to manifest itself.)
