Photos from Kennedy Space Center 2009

The following photo gallery covers photos taking in and around Kennedy Space Center in 2009 (Except for the first 5 photos).

• The first 12 photos are Panoramic Views and clicking on the thumbnails will load a Zoomify Viewer to expore the details of the images).


• The next 22 images are from delta FRR (Flight Readiness Review) Meeting for STS-119 on Februry 20, 2009, and includes photos of the Flow Control Valve Poppet, and first 90 degree elbow damaged by the broken poppet.


• The next 7 images are from the SFA Launch Honoree Awards Ceremony on November 14, where Winston was awarded for his work on the Flow Control Valve issue at the Disney Swan and Dolphin resort.


• The next 63 images are from the VIP tour of KSC Winston and his Dad took as part of the SFA Launch Honoree activities including photos from the Saturn V Visitor Complex, Launch Pad, VAB and Visitor Center.


• Next up are 30 photos from the actual Launch of STS-129 Space Shuttle Atlantis from the Banana Creek Viewing Site including 11 video stills from the HD video I filmed of the Launch and Landing .


• I've also included 35 additional official NASA photos of the Launch from various angles.


• The final 40 photos are from November 27, 2009 when we went to watch the STS-129 Landing, from the Mid-field viewing site, and a few photos from the visitor center are included.


• Also are a few photos from Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge/Canaveral National Seashore which is just north of the Kennedy and have different views of the site.
