Recently in Spanish Class Category

The teacher is using "I spy" And Simon Says to teach about colors, body parts, shapes, etc in Spanish. She also keeps reviewing opposites and animals. 

Megan is learning Yo Soy, which means "I am" and Mi pelo es (my hair is).  Yo soy una nina and Yo soy baja(o for masculine). Mi Pelo es liso (straight) and mi pelo es Largo (long).  Finally, she describes her eyes  , "Mis ojos son cafe". 

Megan this passed Monday had a substitute teacher. She learned a lot. They went over colors and counting up to twenty.  They went over the months of the year.  She handed out a worksheet and learned how to say it's very hot, its very cold, it's cool.  They went over the names of the seasons as well. I liked this teacher. She was big on asking the students individually. The problem with this class is that the knowledge varies all over the board. Before the teacher was even here, Megan was writing the seasons out on paper. I think Megan is ahead of other kids in the area of writing. I want to put this picture up on the wall.
