Megan , on page 30, Megan had to answer a word problem with llamas.  They used four llamas as guides and each one could carry 100 lbs. How much weight could they carry in all.  Then, one guide owns 11 llamas . If seven are used, how many are left.  On page 31, she did the problem wrong, but we redid it together. If was a 4 times 4 multiplication problem basically, so we counted by 4s together. Its a little hard for her yet, but I like the exposure.

Megan did three problems.  The first one dealt with graphing data on the amount of cats sold per week and reading data off the graph. The second one was about how much cheese do four mice eat if they each get two pieces.  The last one is about how many mice one would trap if they trapped one mouse every day for two weeks.
