Megan worked on the 3, 7, 10 family and then did some three number math with rods (I like this ideas). The rods were 5, 2, 3 and 10. I made problems such as 2+5 = what - what. They had her solve a similar problem and others of equation equality, like 10-5 = 2+ 3.
