From confessions of a homeschooler.   We read the first 15 pages of "getting to know the world's greatest Artists-Mone by mike Venezia.  I asked questions like what do you see in the picture, how does it make you feel, how you think the author felt when he painted it, etc. then we painted pictures using acrylic. We were supposed to be duplicating Monet's painting, but we just played with acrylic on cardstock.
